I live and work in Siena, Italy.
My work has always being developing in a precarious balance in the permanent confrontation between figurative and abstract art. In an attempt to cross this border, I try to trespass the pictorial substance ,continuously seeking a gesture, a creative act which could lead me beyond painting. My research imposes an organised chaos between the different forms of art, between the various languages that I use in my art works. This dimension of entropy and control enveils a hidden territory where painting emerges without painting and is accomplished naturally, without resorting to its traditional means . The enamel, present in almost all my paintings, seems to assert a desire of immobility, whilst it is on the contrary the element generating the formal dynamism, the perpetual movement present in my works.
